Mechanical Engineer for Heat Pump Development

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer for Heat Pump Development you will join Bosch Home Comfort’s growing team that creates innovative heating and cooling solutions for the residential market. Working in an international, cross‑functional environment, you will help design and test low‑price heat pump products that will be manufactured across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new technical concepts and functions for low‑price heat pump products.
• Test heat pumps and components, analyse results and document performance and reliability.
• Define product requirements for heating, cooling and domestic hot‑water systems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including reports, procedures and specifications.
• Support market introduction activities such as testing, certification, documentation and production ramp‑up.
• Apply product engineering tools (FMEA, 8D, DRBFM) to ensure robustness and quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical product development, preferably in thermodynamic or HVAC applications.
• Experience with testing, validation and documentation of mechanical systems.
• Ability to work in a cross‑functional, international team and communicate technical information clearly.
