Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

agap2 indústria is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Porto‑area team. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing mechanical components and assemblies, using advanced CAD tools and simulation techniques to support our industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D and 2D mechanical models using CAD software.
• Perform CFD and FEA analyses to validate designs and improve performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and analysis reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost‑effective.
• Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools to manage design data and revisions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in 3D/2D mechanical design.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
