Manufacturing Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Manager represents ALPLA at plant level, driving optimization and continuous improvement to secure the plant’s future. This role oversees all operational aspects, including planning, production, and maintenance, ensuring efficient and high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Act as ALPLA’s plant‑level representative, promoting entrepreneurial actions.
• Secure the plant’s future through optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage all operational topics, including production planning, execution, and maintenance.
• Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of performance and safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor/Master or Diploma degree with a strong affinity for operations/manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably plastic packaging.
• Deep understanding of cost calculation and performance metrics.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to train and develop teams.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and proactively solve problems.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel for work.
