Manufacturing Compliance Manager (Hybrid, Portugal)

About the role

Colorifix is seeking a detail‑oriented Manufacturing Compliance Manager to ensure that bioreactor manufacturing and assembly processes meet rigorous regulatory, safety, and quality standards across the UK, Europe and international markets. Working closely with the Production Manager and reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will own compliance throughout the full production cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise production line efficiency, safety and quality.
• Implement and manage systems for part specifications, inspections, inventory and sign‑offs.
• Verify welding, forming and manufacturing activities against regulatory and quality standards.
• Lead standardisation of build processes, documentation and QA protocols.
• Ensure pressure‑containing components are designed to applicable codes and approve mechanical calculations, stress analysis and material selection.
• Manage vendor and supplier quality, including incoming goods inspections, in‑process checks and supplier audits.
• Maintain technical files, certificates of analysis, MSDS, drawings and quality control records.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑focused professional with experience in manufacturing compliance or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for pressure equipment and bioprocessing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering and external suppliers.
