Manager, Product Management

About the role

SPD Technology is seeking a Manager, Product Management to lead a portfolio of core platform experience areas for PitchBook, a leading investment data and analytics platform. You will be part of the Product and Engineering team, driving product vision, roadmap, and delivery for features such as advanced search, dashboards, and data discovery workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap across multiple core platform areas, prioritising initiatives and maintaining clear delivery direction.
• Lead, develop, and coach a team of product managers, fostering product craftsmanship and strategic thinking.
• Translate portfolio‑level strategic priorities into actionable execution plans aligned with local engineering teams and US‑based product leadership.
• Serve as the primary product voice in cross‑functional conversations, ensuring alignment between engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
• Balance competing demands, drive prioritisation decisions, and maintain a committed delivery cadence.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product management teams in a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong ability to define and communicate product roadmaps and strategic priorities.
• Demonstrated skill in coaching product managers to become confident, strategic contributors.
• Excellent collaboration skills with engineering and cross‑functional teams, especially in a distributed setting.
