Manager – People Advisory Services (Tax Mobility)

About the role

The Mobility practice of People Advisory Services helps global organisations manage the cost and risk of workforce mobility. As a Manager you will deliver strategic tax planning, pre‑assignment and post‑assignment support, repatriation assistance and ongoing advisory to multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic tax planning recommendations, including pre‑assignment planning and post‑assignment tax return completion.
• Assist clients with repatriation and continuous mobility support across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare, review and sign‑off individual tax returns and overseas filings.
• Develop tax cost estimates, projections, equalisation calculations and hypothetical tax analyses.
• Engage directly with clients, negotiate solutions and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Identify follow‑on engagement opportunities to generate revenue and build lasting relationships.
• Lead workstreams from planning to implementation, managing resources and budgets.
• Coach and develop junior team members, enhancing their technical and client‑service skills.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mobility tax, expatriate tax compliance or related advisory services.
• Strong understanding of automated tax‑processing systems and international tax legislation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; English at intermediate level or higher.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office packages.
• Highly motivated, problem‑solver with the ability to prioritize shifting workloads.
