Maintenance Supervisor – Facility Operations

About the role

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead facility maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities across its GMP‑regulated manufacturing sites. The role reports to senior management and ensures compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards while supporting customer‑driven goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and schedule work for utilities, facilities and calibration technicians.
• Direct facility repairs, installations, small construction projects and grounds improvements, ensuring energy‑efficient methods.
• Supervise emergency repairs, inspect field work, and maintain accurate work‑order records.
• Administer contracts, review contractor performance, and ensure timely, quality completion.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with state, federal and local building codes.
• Prepare budget estimates, monitor departmental expenditures and manage inventory of parts and supplies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline (MBA, MS or ME preferred).
• 3‑5 years of supervisory experience in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing environment.
• Physical ability to lift 25‑35 lb regularly and perform tasks in wet, humid or noisy conditions.

Required skills

• Analog, digital and solid‑state electronic circuit repair.
• Database administration (LAN, CalPro, Maximo, SAP, Metasys, PLCs, fire and security systems).
• Equipment calibration and maintenance procedures.
• Blueprint and specification interpretation.
• Contract administration and vendor management.
• Inventory management and budgeting.
