Lead EU Comms Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Head of European Programmes at Vodafone Foundation, the Lead EU Comms Manager will design and execute strategic communication campaigns across multiple European markets. The role supports flagship programmes such as Skills Upload Jr, Hi Digital and TOZI, and works to amplify the Foundation’s impact through consistent, purpose‑led messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and deliver high‑impact multi‑country communication campaigns from strategy through localisation, execution, evaluation and reporting.
• Shape programme narratives, value propositions and messaging frameworks aligned with Vodafone Foundation’s mission and Group priorities.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with NGOs, agencies, educational institutions and sector organisations to extend programme reach.
• Coordinate with local Foundations and Group functions to ensure cross‑market alignment, governance and performance tracking.
• Set campaign KPIs, monitor results, generate insights and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage communication budgets and agency relationships across Europe.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multi‑market communication initiatives, preferably within a foundation, non‑profit or corporate social responsibility context.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work autonomously across diverse markets.
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a track record of delivering measurable impact.
