Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Assistants to join the Steak Beef team in Portugal. The role is hands‑on, supporting the preparation of our signature coal‑fire grilled dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and presenting coal‑fire grilled menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organization of the kitchen at all times.
• Handle and store ingredients according to food‑safety standards.
• Support the kitchen crew during peak service hours.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Contribute to a positive, multicultural team environment.

Required profile

• Some experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Passion for food and a genuine willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
