Junior Vendor Management Support Analyst

About the role

Hitachi Digital Services is hiring a Junior Vendor Management Support Analyst in Lisbon, reporting to the Service Manager based in Portugal. The role covers selected support and quality maintenance activities within the partner's vendor management lifecycle. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday including Portuguese holidays except Christmas and New Year, from 1pm to 10pm.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure quality, consistency and compliance with approved procedures and governance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and update Service Operation Procedures continuously.
• Carry out regular reporting in line with established procedures and quality requirements.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, operations support, managed services or related functions.
• Demonstrated experience working with service providers and third-party vendors.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with contract management and supplier governance processes.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SLA/KPI management and reporting principles.
• Preferred: experience with international teams and clients, and knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization frameworks.
