Junior Quality Tester (Coimbra)

About the role

Noesis is seeking a motivated Junior Quality Tester to join its team in Coimbra. You will work on testing software applications, ensuring they meet functional and quality standards while collaborating with developers and project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Create test cases based on requirements and design documents.
• Perform manual functional, regression and integration testing.
• Identify, document and report bugs using defect‑tracking tools, including screenshots and step‑by‑step reproduction steps.
• Participate in project meetings and follow testing policies, criteria, and procedures.
• Communicate test results and issues effectively to stakeholders and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 6 months of professional experience in functional testing.
• Ability to design, plan and execute test cases independently.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proactive, dynamic and able to work in an Agile environment.
