Junior Quality Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Junior Quality Analyst to join our fast‑paced, entrepreneurial startup in Cascais. The role supports process organization and certification maintenance, operating within an owner‑led culture that values agility, high standards, and a get‑it‑done mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Manage retention samples and implement quality rating systems for all shipments to clients and prospects.
• Curate and maintain technical documentation required for European compliance and international certifications.
• Assist in mapping and technically qualifying new suppliers to ensure alignment with quality benchmarks.
• Partner in the creation and automation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using AI‑driven tools.
• Coordinate with third‑party laboratories for testing and handle audit‑related administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Portuguese.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to methodical documentation.
• Tech‑savvy with interest in AI‑integrated workflows and process automation.
