Junior Non‑Key Expert – Digital Connectivity for Agriculture & Education

About the role

NTU International is seeking three Junior Non‑Key Experts to support the PRIDA II project, which aims to strengthen the African Union’s capacity to implement digital strategies for agriculture and education across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Assess bandwidth availability, quality and cost for rural agriculture and education in all AU member states.
• Evaluate affordable connectivity options, including technical, economic and regulatory feasibility for underserved areas.
• Review and develop sustainable financing and service‑delivery models, creating pricing and discount‑rate methodologies with sensitivity analysis.
• Design policy and implementation strategies to promote sustainable digital connectivity, aligning with AU and national frameworks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communications/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ICT/IT, Economics or Law.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in connectivity market development in developing or emerging economies.
• Ability to work across all five AU geographic regions (North, West, Central, East, Southern Africa).
