Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join its global engineering team. You will work on Linux‑based infrastructure, containerisation, and automation to support innovative projects across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, or equivalents).
• Create, optimise, and maintain Docker containers.
• Support the design, implementation, and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate operational tasks using Ansible or comparable tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable continuous integration and delivery.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Assist with cloud‑based environment operations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Linux system administration.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and container workflows.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Experience with Ansible or similar automation frameworks.
• Ability to monitor systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and proactive mindset.
• Team‑player who can collaborate effectively.
