Janitorial Cleaner – Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to maintain clean, safe, and orderly environments across our facilities. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals new to the workforce or returning with limited experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and uphold hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and polishing tools.
