IT Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives for a banking client. You will be responsible for delivering solutions that align with the client’s strategic objectives while ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor IT projects from initiation to closure.
• Integrate management of scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Communicate and align with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies.
• Manage external suppliers and ensure service quality.
• Prepare and present progress reports, KPIs and milestone tracking.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and internal standards.
• Promote project transparency, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex IT initiatives.
• Background in the financial or banking sector (preferred).
• Familiarity with Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are valued.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Highly proactive, autonomous and able to take initiative.
