IT & Operations Audit Expert

About the role

The IT & Operations Audit Expert will support the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Internal Audit Division. You will evaluate IT‑related risks and controls, help design the annual audit plan, and keep the team aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive assessments of technology and operational risks, identifying control gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, communicating risks, trends, and compliance opportunities.
• Design, develop, and execute the annual IT & Operations audit plan in line with standards and organizational risk profile.
• Define audit objectives, scope, methodology, and procedures for efficient, risk‑based coverage.
• Collaborate with process owners to implement corrective action plans and monitor remediation.
• Independently evaluate the effectiveness of IT & Operations controls, including SOX and other regulatory controls.
• Prepare and issue audit reports with clear conclusions and actionable recommendations for senior management.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices.
• Manage escalations, deviations, and documentation of internal control exceptions.
• Drive continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of IT auditing experience, with at least five (5) years in an IT or related business role.
• Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred.

Required skills
