IT Infrastructure Engineer – Hospitality Projects

About the role

TLG Global is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer/Technician to lead the deployment of IT, AV, and security systems across multiple 4‑ and 5‑star hotel projects for the Wyndham brand in Portugal. The role combines hands‑on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networking, audiovisual, and guest‑room management technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute structured cabling works (copper and fiber) including routing, splicing, termination, labeling, and testing.
• Install and configure network switches, firewalls, routers, servers and high‑density Wi‑Fi systems, producing coverage heatmaps.
• Deploy IPTV, middleware, SIP‑based IP telephony with SIP trunking, and integrate PMS systems via FIAS protocol.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot CCTV solutions (Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Safire, Mazi).
• Set up and maintain Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS) using Zigbee wireless protocols.
• Configure LED video walls and Novastar controllers for conference rooms and lobbies.
• Install access‑control hardware for common areas and guest rooms.
• Configure audio‑visual equipment including amplifiers, mixers, speakers, and PA/BGM systems.
• Prepare network diagrams, IP addressing plans, and Wi‑Fi heatmaps.
• Provide desktop IT support for up to 60 workstations and maintain server rooms, UPS, and critical backend infrastructure.
• Liaise with vendors, partners, and internal teams during project execution and commissioning.
• Maintain technical documentation, device configurations, and project handover files.

Required profile

• High school diploma or degree in IT, networking, electronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience on hospitality IT projects, preferably hotels.
• Proficiency in English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work on‑site.
