IT Head Manager – Lead Strategy & Digital Transformation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Head Manager to define and drive the Information Systems strategy for a leading organization in Setúbal. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and hands‑on oversight of technology operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align the IT strategy with overall business objectives.
• Lead the IT function, ensuring reliable service delivery and efficient operations.
• Manage technology vendors, service providers, and contractual relationships.
• Assess, optimise, and evolve the existing technology architecture.
• Drive cybersecurity initiatives and manage technology‑related risks.
• Support digital transformation and process‑improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap and investment plan.
• Oversee ERP systems, with a strong focus on SAP.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in senior IT leadership positions.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity and IT governance.
• Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation programmes.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
