International Business Controller - Remote

About the role

Keyloop is looking for an International Business Controller to own the accuracy and completeness of regional balance sheets and profit & loss statements. This remote position supports both IFRS management reporting and local GAAP statutory reporting while collaborating closely with finance partners and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and verify the assigned regional Balance Sheet and P&L on a daily basis.
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analyses and present findings to the Controlling Manager and Group Financial Controller.
• Lead quarterly balance‑sheet reconciliations and high‑risk journal reviews.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS for management reporting and local GAAP for statutory reporting.
• Coordinate external audit activities and liaise with third‑party advisors such as KPMG.
• Support the Business Finance team with accounting guidance for forecasting and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Experience in statutory year‑end closing under local GAAP.
• Proven ability to prepare draft financial statements and work with external auditors.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with auditors and tax advisors.
• Good understanding of VAT, income tax compliance and corporate tax matters.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Solid background in finance, accounting, financial controlling or external audit.
