Instock Associate – First Shift

About the role

The Instock Associate works the first shift in a Walmart distribution center, primarily unloading trucks and stocking new freight. The role is hands‑on, focused on back‑room operations, and requires physical strength and equipment handling.

Key responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and verify freight.
• Stock merchandise onto shelves and in designated locations.
• Maintain an organized back‑room environment.
• Lift items weighing more than 50 lb safely.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts when required.

Required profile

• Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lb+).
• Willingness to work the first shift on a full‑time schedule.
• Physical stamina for prolonged standing and moving.
