Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Arrow Electronics is looking for an Inside Sales Representative for its Porto branch. The sales professional supports a portfolio of customers by finding and securing the right products or services for each need, working daily with the Field Sales team, supplier partners, engineers and other internal resources. The role aims to grow Arrow's business and increase its market share.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and sell to assigned customers and quote across Arrow's full product offering
• Understand current and future customer needs
• Work with buyers and engineers to find new sales opportunities, providing quotes, technical support and data sheets
• Provide post-sales service and ensure products are delivered as requested
• Manage the customer base through competition analysis, customer profiling and interaction with Field Resources
• Coordinate with internal corporate groups to ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop product knowledge through internal training and act as a team player

Required profile

• College degree preferred, or high school diploma with sales training and equivalent experience
• Proven strong work ethic, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Organizational, problem-solving and multitasking abilities; ability to influence at multiple organizational levels
• Composure in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Bilingualism is an asset: proficiency in English and one other language such as French, German, Italian or Spanish

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, the Internet and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
