HR Business Partner – Lisbon

About the role

CGI is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join its HR team in Lisbon. The role will act as a trusted advisor and coach to business unit leaders, supporting the full employee lifecycle and aligning talent management with the company’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with BU leadership to provide HR advice, coaching, and support for business plans.
• Identify, implement, and monitor global and local HR initiatives relevant to the business unit.
• Manage HR processes including performance management, salary review, training, onboarding, and benefits in line with corporate and local policies.
• Ensure compliance with employment and social legislation, consulting legal teams to mitigate risk.
• Contribute to transformation and integration programs, using HR metrics to diagnose issues and improve performance.
• Promote a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle and act as a CGI ambassador.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
• Senior‑level experience as an HR Business Partner with a proven advisory track record.
• Ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives and to work with senior decision‑makers.
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting financial and HR metrics.
• Excellent presentation skills and a collaborative, team‑player attitude.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint for presentations.
