Housekeeping Manager – Luxury Hotel in Lisbon

About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping department of our luxury hotel in Lisbon. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities across guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces and facilities.
• Lead, motivate, develop and evaluate the housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Plan staffing levels, create schedules and allocate resources to maintain operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory, purchasing and stock control of linens, uniforms, cleaning products and supplies.
• Monitor departmental budgets, control costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance, F&B and Guest Relations to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and environmental regulations.
• Prepare operational reports, performance analyses and departmental KPIs for management.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within luxury hospitality.
• Degree in Tourism, Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus.
