Hotel Director – Shipboard Luxury Operations

About the role

The Hotel Director will lead the hotel operations on a luxury cruise ship, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and optimal financial performance. This senior position requires a strong background in five‑star hotel management and proven shipboard experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel and guest‑service functions on board, maintaining the highest standards of service.
• Drive guest satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and attentive service.
• Manage inventory levels to align with operational targets and guest demand.
• Control departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize revenue.
• Develop and execute tactical plans to achieve financial goals.
• Identify and implement innovative revenue‑generation ideas and operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience as a Hotel Director, Rooms Division Director, Revenue Management Director or Hotel Operations Director in a 5‑star luxury or ultra‑luxury hotel.
• Mandatory shipboard hotel director experience.
• Fluent, clear and courteous English communication skills.
• Demonstrated business ownership mindset and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
