Head of Wealth & Trading

About the role

Revolut is seeking a senior leader to own the end‑to‑end Wealth & Trading function for the UAE region. You will be responsible for securing licences, scaling the platform, and ensuring regulatory compliance while driving commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior point of contact for UAE regulators (SCA, Central Bank) and manage licence applications, approvals, and ongoing supervision.
• Design and embed local governance frameworks and ensure full compliance with securities, conduct, and consumer‑protection regulations.
• Own the first‑line risk management framework for the regional Wealth & Trading team.
• Promote a proactive conduct culture focused on fair outcomes, transparency, and product suitability.
• Provide clear leadership, coaching, and succession planning for the local team.
• Collaborate closely with global Wealth & Trading, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Engineering functions.

Required profile

• A degree in finance, economics, business, engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in brokerage, wealth or trading businesses within banks, brokers, fintechs or other regulated institutions.
• Proven track record launching, leading or transforming a retail brokerage or wealth platform.
• Deep knowledge of retail trading and investment products and the full trading lifecycle.
• Experience engaging with regulators, handling inspections and remediation.
• Strong collaboration experience with product and engineering teams.
