Head of Brand & Editorial

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Brand & Editorial to shape and systematise the voice of The Epic Talent Society. Reporting initially to the founder, you will translate the organisation’s bold ideas into a coherent editorial architecture that supports our growth and commercial priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own an editorial strategy that defines what we talk about, the questions we raise and how our communication aligns with business direction.
• Transform ad‑hoc inspiration into a recognisable, consistent body of work across all channels – social media, quarterly magazine, website, presentations and more.
• Collaborate with the founder and senior team to absorb existing brand DNA, challenge it and expand it into new themes and formats.
• Write, edit and brief creative production, ensuring each piece reflects the Epic voice while remaining fresh and spontaneous.
• Identify opportunities, propose angles and decide which ideas merit development, creating a self‑sustaining editorial system.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading brand or editorial functions in a fast‑moving agency or consultancy environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable content plans.
• Excellent storytelling and copy‑writing skills, with a keen eye for cultural relevance.
• Comfort working closely with senior founders and influencing without being the sole idea source.
• Ability to balance consistency with spontaneity and to manage multiple communication channels.
