Guidewire Team Lead

About the role

Empa‑T is seeking a Guidewire Team Lead to drive the delivery of Guidewire solutions within a large‑scale insurance transformation program. The role combines deep technical expertise with people leadership, stakeholder management, and agile delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of Guidewire Developers and Consultants.
• Act as the primary technical reference for Guidewire initiatives, ensuring best practices and code quality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Guidewire solutions.
• Oversee design, development, customization, and integration of Guidewire applications.
• Coordinate with QA, Architecture, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support sprint planning, estimations, releases, and deployment activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across Guidewire platforms and development processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Guidewire solutions and a leadership role such as Team Lead, Technical Lead or Lead Developer.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
• Ability to balance technical leadership with team management responsibilities.
• Experience working in large‑scale enterprise and Agile environments.
