Global Strategic Buyer – Electro-Mechanics Components

About the role

The Keenfinity Group is seeking a Global Strategic Buyer to lead the procurement of electro‑mechanics components across its international sites in Portugal, Germany, China and Mexico. You will shape sourcing strategies, manage a worldwide supplier base and drive cost‑saving initiatives in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a global material field for electro‑mechanics components.
• Analyse global procurement markets, supplier landscapes and material trends.
• Develop and execute sourcing and supplier strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Define, optimise and maintain the global supplier panel.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, contracts and performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sites and functions.
• Own purchasing processes including commercial negotiations, price setting, delivery escalation and quotation support.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, KPI tracking and forecasting.
• Drive technical cost‑reduction projects in partnership with suppliers and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of strategic purchasing experience for direct materials in a global industrial or EMS environment.
• Strong background in procurement of mechanical components.
• Proven track record in global supplier strategy, international negotiations and cost‑structure analysis.
• Highly proactive, solution‑oriented and comfortable in fast‑paced international settings.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
