Global Procurement Controller – Finance

About the role

As a member of the Global Finance team, the Global Procurement Controller provides financial support to improve profitability and productivity across TE Connectivity’s procurement function. The role partners with regional and global procurement leaders, ensures robust controls, and drives waste‑elimination initiatives while delivering accurate forecasts, budgets and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a premier business partner to regional and global procurement management.
• Own quarterly forecasts, the annual budget and strategic planning for direct material spend and material productivity.
• Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packages on material spend, analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support, analyse and approve TEBIT projects related to material productivity; serve as the financial contact for TEBIT.
• Lead communication and support for internal or external audit visits concerning procurement activities.
• Maintain a strong internal‑control environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests and create presentations for regional and global management.
• Develop new internal processes and analytical reports to improve information sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial and operational performance through forecasting, budgeting and proactive performance tracking.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum five years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to improve process controls and procedures.
• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple, varied projects.
• Comfortable navigating a matrix reporting structure.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience interacting with various management levels.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced computer proficiency with strong spreadsheet skills (MS Office).
