GL Accountant – Financial Reporting & Consolidation

About the role

We are looking for a GL Accountant to join our finance team, supporting monthly close, reporting and consolidation for multiple entities. The role combines technical accounting expertise with a collaborative approach across local finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly close activities, prepare and post journal entries, and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Execute balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and support consolidation reporting (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Maintain the general ledger in line with IFRS and group policies, including complex intercompany, provision and lease accounting.
• Validate entries from sub‑ledgers (AP/AR), manage chart of accounts mapping and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist external auditors, ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal controls.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3‑6 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and month‑end closing processes.
• Fluent English communication skills.
