About the role

Fyld, a Portuguese consulting firm focused on high‑performance IT services, is seeking a Full‑Stack Java Developer to join its team of elite consultants. You will work on both back‑end and front‑end components, delivering robust, scalable solutions for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Implement responsive user interfaces with React or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript.
Build and consume RESTful APIs, documenting them with Swagger or Postman.
Write complex SQL queries, optimise database performance and work with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases.
Set up CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Travis CI.
Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
Perform unit testing with JUnit and Mockito, and apply security best practices.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
Fluent English communication skills.
Strong commitment to high standards, professionalism and continuous learning.
