Fullstack Developer (Infra & Cloud)

About the role

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer specialized in infrastructure and cloud to join Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions in Portugal. You will work with cloud environments, build and operate platform applications, and support product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain cloud‑native platform applications.
• Collaborate with product teams to choose appropriate technologies and frameworks.
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions.
• Maintain and optimise existing code following SOLID and Clean Code principles.
• Work with Unix/Linux systems, command‑line tools and scripting.
• Support reliability and scalability of services, drawing on SRE or solution‑architecture practices when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer or in infrastructure‑related roles.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a plus.
• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or Solution Architect is advantageous.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Java, Go, Kotlin, Python.
• Unix/Linux operating systems and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
