Fullstack Application Developer – Java & React

About the role

As a Knowledge Services Application Developer you will design, build and maintain Java‑based internal applications that support learning tools and workflow automation. The role covers the full software lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deploying solutions in Linux environments.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, test and maintain Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Build full‑stack solutions, including backend services and web‑based user interfaces.
• Develop UI components with JSP, Thymeleaf and/or React.
• Create and document RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Design database schemas and optimise queries in Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and support applications on Linux servers.
• Manage tasks, bugs and enhancements using Jira.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement.
• Maintain high‑quality code with Git following development standards.
