Full-Stack Python Engineer

About the role

pubGENIUS, a React.js and Next.js development agency and ad‑tech startup, is seeking a Full‑Stack Python Engineer to design, build, and scale robust web applications for clients across the US and Europe. You will work on real client products and internal systems, collaborating with at least one other developer and receiving guidance from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain full‑stack web applications using Python and JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and implement APIs with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Build responsive front‑ends with React.js and/or Next.js.
• Integrate relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver client solutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Solid experience with Node.js and server‑side JavaScript.
• Frontend experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
• Comfortable working with both relational and non‑relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Good understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles.
