Frontend Developer (React) – Hybrid in Porto

About the role

KCS IT is looking for a Frontend Developer with at least three years of professional experience to create modern, responsive web applications using React. The position is hybrid, based in Porto, Portugal, and offers the chance to work on diverse client projects across different sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement UI components and features using React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Maintain high‑quality, responsive code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, participate in sprint planning and code reviews.
• Perform testing, debugging and troubleshooting to deliver reliable solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑based deployment processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
