French Product Information Translator

About the role

Farfetch is looking for a native‑level French Translator to join its Creative Operations team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for adapting product catalogue content so that it resonates with French‑speaking customers while maintaining the brand’s luxury tone.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and localise product information, including material descriptions, fabric compositions and size‑fit details.
• Adapt the Farfetch product catalogue and related assets to French cultural nuances.
• Deliver projects on time and uphold the highest quality standards.
• Maintain translation memories and terminology databases to ensure consistency.
• Ensure uniform language and tone across all product descriptions.
• Utilise and help improve localisation tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in French with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proven experience translating luxury or high‑end e‑commerce content, especially technical product details.
• Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to craft customer‑centric copy.
• Process‑oriented mindset with experience managing translation workflows.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for e‑commerce.
