French Customer Support Specialist – Travel

About the role

Join a fast‑paced international travel support team in Lisbon, helping travelers worldwide resolve real‑time issues such as flight changes, hotel disruptions, cancellations, and refund requests. This position blends high‑volume customer service with the dynamic environment of online travel, requiring empathy, speed, and strong problem‑solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for travelers experiencing disruptions.
• Manage flight modifications, cancellations, rebooking, and compensation cases.
• Handle hotel booking issues and accommodation changes.
• Process refunds and compensation requests.
• Communicate with customers via calls, emails, and chat.
• Collaborate with airlines, travel partners, and internal systems to ensure swift resolutions.
• Maintain high‑quality service standards in a high‑volume environment.

Required profile

• Fluent French speaker (mandatory) with strong English proficiency.
• Comfortable working in an international, multilingual customer service setting.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle high‑volume requests.
• Proactive mindset and genuine interest in helping customers.

What we offer

• Base salary of €1,100 gross per month.
• Language bonus of €150 and performance bonus up to €80.
• Meal allowance of €7 per day.
• Rotational schedule covering global travel operations (Monday‑Friday 13:00‑22:00, rotating weekend shifts).
