Freelance Mobile App Developer (iOS / Android)

About the role

Mindrift is seeking experienced mobile app developers to work on the Tendem project, a hybrid AI‑human platform. This part‑time, fully remote freelance position allows you to design, build, and refine native or cross‑platform applications for iOS and Android while collaborating with AI‑generated code and Tendem agents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI (iOS) or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose (Android).
• Create responsive UIs that follow iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
• Integrate native device features such as camera, push notifications, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Connect apps to backend APIs, manage offline state, caching, and synchronization.
• Implement monetization options like in‑app purchases, ads, and subscriptions.
• Evaluate and refactor AI‑generated code for correctness, performance, battery usage, and maintainability.
• Debug platform‑specific issues and prepare builds for distribution via TestFlight and Google Play Console.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional mobile app development experience.
• Strong understanding of platform‑specific UI/UX patterns and performance optimisation.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production‑ready code.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is a plus.
