About the role

You will own hiring at Swans, a fast‑growing startup that aims to scale from a dozen employees to over thirty by the end of 2027. There is no existing pipeline or playbook – you will create both from scratch and drive the entire talent acquisition function.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a hiring strategy for multiple functions (product engineering, legal engineering, onboarding, client success, etc.).
• Build end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
• Source, assess, and engage candidates across senior and specialized roles.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to align hiring priorities with business goals.
• Manage a fast hiring cadence – aim to fill roles within two weeks from first call.
• Lead the recruitment of roughly twenty hires over the next eighteen months.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience scaling early‑stage teams.
• Comfortable operating in a high‑ambiguity environment and building processes from zero.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with overlapping European hours.
• Strong organizational abilities and a results‑driven attitude.
