Forward Deployed Software Engineer (all genders)

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer you will work directly with customers to turn complex business problems into production‑ready software, combining strong engineering skills with product thinking and an ownership mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer domains, translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical solutions, and prioritize what should be built.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end applications across frontend (React, TypeScript), backend (Python, FastAPI.NET/C#), APIs, integrations and cloud components.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities where they add value, such as intelligent assistants, search or workflow automation.
• Maintain high code quality, automated testing, security, observability and cost‑effective cloud operations.
• Participate in customer workshops, delivery phases and provide technical guidance to internal and customer teams.

Required profile

• Several years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
• Comfort communicating technical concepts directly with customers.

Required skills

• Python or .NET/C# (backend)
• React and TypeScript (frontend)
• FastAPI, RESTful API design, event‑driven integration patterns
• Git, CI/CD platforms (GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab)
• Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Experience with AI/LLM integration (e.g., Azure OpenAI, conversational interfaces)
