Forensic Services Consultant / Senior Consultant in Lisbon or Porto

About the role

PwC’s Forensic Services team is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its fraud prevention and investigation practice in Lisbon or Porto. You will work alongside business leaders to design and implement controls that mitigate fraud, bribery and corruption risks, and to conduct forensic audits for complex organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement control systems to prevent fraud, bribery and corruption.
• Conduct forensic audits and investigations for large, multinational clients.
• Support the development of ethical and compliance programmes within client organisations.
• Participate in projects related to internal control implementation and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and travel internationally as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting or Criminology (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in financial audit, compliance or internal audit.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• High sense of responsibility, adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
