Financial Controller – Remote

About the role

Pragmatike is recruiting for a fast‑growing data‑center infrastructure company that designs, builds and installs large, capital‑intensive projects. The Financial Controller will own financial control, treasury and contract governance, ensuring accurate reporting and healthy liquidity across complex, long‑cycle contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial aspects of customer, supplier and subcontractor contracts, including milestones, payment terms, change orders and retentions.
• Manage long‑term contract revenue recognition under ASC 606 / IFRS 15 using percentage‑of‑completion or input methods.
• Monitor project profitability, cost‑to‑complete, margin erosion and cash‑at‑risk.
• Lead monthly close, management reporting and audit coordination.
• Drive day‑to‑day and forward‑looking cash‑flow forecasting (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Optimize working capital – receivables, supplier terms, inventory and project cash needs.
• Maintain banking relationships, credit facilities, project finance and asset‑backed lending.
• Track FX exposure for international equipment and contracts.
• Partner with Sales, Procurement and Project teams on commercial terms and financial risk before contract signing.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in financial controlling or a similar finance role.
• Background in EPC, infrastructure, construction, equipment manufacturing, data‑centers or other project‑based businesses.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS, with advanced expertise in ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
• Proven experience in treasury, cash‑flow management and working‑capital optimization.
• Ability to review complex contracts from a financial perspective.
