Financial Accountant

About the role

As a Financial Accountant you will analyse financial figures, provide accounting guidance to business colleagues and support external auditors. You will work with colleagues across different countries through email and live meetings, ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to digitalisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly financial closing and fulfil reporting requirements.
• Perform regular critical reviews of the Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Execute foreign exchange and hedge accounting tasks.
• Advise the operating business on accounting issues and special transactions.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external partners, including local management, headquarters and auditors.
• Drive and support the implementation of digitalisation solutions.
• Perform and implement accounting controls.
• Support M&A transactions and process‑improvement projects within the accounting area.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in audit, accounting or a similar role.
• Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a changing environment and adapt quickly.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
