Finance Specialist – Accounts Payable

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Specialist to join our Business Services shared service centre in Portugal. The role focuses on managing the end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay and accounts payable processes while supporting broader finance activities across European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage purchase orders in line with company policies, coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and resolve PO‑related inquiries.
• Review open purchase orders, support GRNI follow‑up, and ensure resale certificates and documentation are up to date.
• Receive, review and process invoices, reconcile vendor statements, maintain accurate financial records, and support payment processing, including non‑PO invoices.
• Monitor vendor accounts, perform 3‑way match reviews, and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support reporting, cash reconciliation, inventory, payroll, billing processes, and monitor AR aging to identify financial risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase‑to‑Pay.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and an ERP system (SAP preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure, detail‑oriented and reliable.
