Finance Manager Portugal & Ireland

About the role

Renvolt is establishing a standalone finance function for Portugal and Ireland. The Finance Manager will lead statutory accounting, tax compliance, month‑end close, audit coordination and group reporting, while managing a team of 5‑6 finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for all Portuguese and Irish entities.
• Ensure statutory accounting in local GAAP (SNC for Portugal, Irish GAAP) and IFRS compliance, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 adjustments.
• Prepare and submit group reporting packages via OneStream, guaranteeing data quality and reconciliation.
• Coordinate external audit preparation and delivery of audited financial statements.
• Oversee local tax compliance (CIT, VAT, WHT) and support transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Implement and maintain internal controls for segregation of duties, P2P and R2R processes.
• Supervise the P2P team handling supplier invoices, payments, AP aging and vendor master data.
• Manage bank relationships and corporate registration matters in both countries.
• Build, lead and develop the local finance team during the carve‑out transition.
• Act as finance business partner to Country Managers and coordinate with EPC/O&M Controllers.
• Drive process improvement and ERP optimisation (IFS).

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics (or equivalent).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance and country finance management.
• Strong knowledge of local tax systems (Portugal SNC, AT Portal; Ireland ROS) and consolidation/reporting tools.
• Proven experience leading finance teams in a multi‑country environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including Power Query) and Power BI for automated dashboards.
• PowerPoint and Word proficiency.
• OneStream consolidation and reporting platform.
• ERP finance applications, specifically IFS ERP (working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics F&O is a plus).
