Finance & Accounting Specialist (Lisbon)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing performance marketing agency in Lisbon as a Finance and Accounting specialist. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information that supports strategic decisions and drives continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance end‑to‑end accounting and tax processes.
• Ensure reliable financial reporting for leadership.
• Partner with the CFO on reporting, insights, and performance analysis.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closings and validate financial data.
• Drive finance process innovation using automation and AI tools.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Mentor and support the accounting team.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, controlling or audit, preferably in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
• At least 2 years of solid accounting experience.
• Experience with financial controlling, reporting and accounting standards.
• Strong interest in using AI tools and automation to streamline finance processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Financial modelling.
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV (experience or familiarity).
• AI tools and automation.
