Field Clinical Specialist II – Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist II supports transcatheter mitral and tricuspid procedures in hospitals, ensuring safe and effective product use while providing education and technical support to physicians and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Support hospital procedures, ensuring safety, efficacy, and compliance with product usage.
• Certify centers, physicians, and staff according to Edwards Lifesciences SOPs.
• Interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors, delivering device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting training.
• Develop and continuously improve training curricula, materials, and tools based on clinical trial experience.
• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and staff through one‑on‑one sessions and structured in‑service programs.
• Provide post‑procedure follow‑up support to maintain continuity of education and technical assistance.
• Plan and implement growth strategies with sales teams, including upselling in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field as needed.
• Review clinical support activities, market changes, and competitive activity with sales leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of medical device and/or clinical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Previous experience in hemodynamics.
• Advanced English proficiency preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
• Understanding of hemodynamics.
• Familiarity with medical device regulatory requirements, device accountability, and adverse event reporting.
• Ability to validate software and hardware updates in the field.
