Equipment Delivery Project Engineer (x2)

About the role

AMGEN is hiring two Equipment Delivery Project Engineers for its Lisbon office, joining the Project Controls organization within Amgen Engineering. The role supports equipment delivery workstreams across Amgen's global capital project portfolio, coordinating delivery from planning through closeout. It reports to the Associate Director - Strategic Equipment Delivery and works with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, CQV, suppliers and digital partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support equipment delivery planning and reporting for assigned capital project equipment packages
• Maintain equipment registers, package control trackers, supplier progress trackers, documentation readiness trackers and related records
• Prepare weekly equipment delivery reviews, including status updates, action logs, risk and issue summaries and escalation inputs
• Track procurement and buyout readiness, supplier progress, design submittals, FAT, shipping dates and documentation readiness
• Maintain package information, milestone updates, cost indicators and project risk registers
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Project Management, CQV, suppliers and analytics teams to gather, validate and report project information
• Document lessons learned, supplier performance, documentation gaps, schedule changes and cost signals during closeout

Required profile

• Detail-oriented project professional with strong coordination and analytical skills
• English proficiency
• One of the following: doctorate with 1 year, master's with 2 years, bachelor's with 4 years, associate's with 6 years, or high school diploma with 8 years of project controls, source-to-pay, procurement, finance, engineering or capital projects experience
• Preferred: experience with capital project delivery, project trackers, registers and dashboards, understanding of equipment delivery processes, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SharePoint and project management tools
