Electrical Superintendent

About the role

Arrowhead Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead on‑site commercial electrical projects in San Juan. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for directing field crews, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with plans, codes, and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electricians and forepersons, coordinating daily activities and performance.
• Review drawings and specifications, plan manpower and material requirements.
• Direct installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors to provide progress updates and resolve field issues.
• Promote a safety‑focused, team‑oriented environment and support quality‑control and productivity initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory and crew‑leadership abilities.
• Solid knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles for commercial construction.
• Experience in electrical contracting, including codes, standards, permitting, and construction processes.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Basic proficiency with project‑management tools and accurate site documentation.
• Trade school certificate, journeyperson‑level training, or equivalent experience; required licensure or certification as per local regulations.
